CRACK OPEN A COLD ONE- MOLSON CANADIAN VIRAL AD

The Ad above is an advertisement for Molson Canadian beer. I found this ad one day when I was on one of my other social media websites, called StumbleUpon. The Ad is directed at well, Canadians, and generally anyone who enjoys a good beer. By speaking of this interesting yet unknown person who thrilled just about everyone the night before, they captured the viewers attention by making them want to watch to find out just who this intriguing person was. As it turns out, this character was CANADIAN! It was smart of them to include a variety of different ethnic backgrounds, as it made the commercial that much more appealing to them as well as us Canadians. Maybe they felt if they did not somehow incorporate more diverse racial backgrounds besides Canadians, it wouldn't capture their attention the way it did. I thought they did a very good job on this commercial, as it made me really want to crack open a Canadian and embrace this side of my culture. Good job, Molson!!

  1. What do you think is it patriotic or does it make fun of Canadians to sell beer? (Molson is owned by Coors in the US)
